Teacher Barbara Rice Weber, age 81 of Fairborn, passed away Saturday August 22, 2009.  She was born May 30, 1928 in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of the late Morris and Mina (Davison) Rice.  She lived the majority of her life in Fairborn and was a retired master teacher with over 30 years of service to the Fairborn City Schools where she gave many hours for extracurricular activities.  She especially enjoyed her work as senior advisor and drama director for school musicals.  In her later years she resided in Cincinnati where she was an avid volunteer with over 21 years of service to St. Luke’s East Hospital.  In addition to her husband of 61 years, Herman; she is survived by her son, Clayton and his wife Jennie; her daughter, Deborah Rieder; three grandsons, Ryan Weber, Justin Clarke, and Paul Weber, Paul’s wife Laura and their two sons, Aidan and Dawson.  A funeral service will be held on Friday August 28, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. in the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Rev. H. Wesley Barnhill officiating.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.  Interment will follow in the Woodland Cemetery, Xenia.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions are made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Bob in a lively discussion with Coach Winkhouse at the stadium for the 40th reunion explaining without any sense of bitterness or remorse what he had been through medically.   Bob displayed  an incredible sense of humor and spirit facing his failing body.  It was a humbling experience being with him that night.

Passed away Friday, April 10, 2009.  Phyllis lived in Englewood, Ohio and had worked  for Carlson Marketing as an account representative.  She is survived by her husband James "Jim" Bruin, sons Derrick Taylor of Dayton; Brett Thomas of Englewood.  Step son;  James Marshall, step daughter; Fawn Frahme, grandchildren; Olivia and Dillon Frahme.  She was preceded in death by her parents Phillip and Virginia Taylor and sister; Toni Taylor.

Deborah A. Cahoon Moore

Debbie (Cahoon) Moore lived in California since 1969.  She had 4 children, 2 girls and 2 boys.  She was also a grandmother of Mikey.  Debbie was admitted to the hospital on Christmas, 2001 and passed away suddenly Jan. 6, 2002.

PAMELA A. WHITE Former Eagle River resident Pamela A. White, 40, a homemaker, died May 10 of an aneurysm at Southwest Washington Medical Center in Vancouver, Wash.   A private service was held May 15 in Vancouver. Burial was in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Vancouver.   Mrs. White was born Oct. 14, 1950, in Tampa, Fla. While in high school, she worked with Children Have a Potential (CHAP).  While in Anchorage, she worked with ARCA.   According to her family, she was an organ donor and nearly 60 people benefited from her generosity.   She moved from Eagle River in 1985 to reside in Alabama, and moved to Vancouver in August.   She is survived by her husband, Edward of Vancouver; her son, Christopher of Vancouver; her daughter, Trisha White of South Hadley, Mass.; her parents, Karl and Edna Klemme, of Eagle River; her brothers, Karl Klemme and William Klemme, both of Eagle River, and Keith Klemme and Kent Klemme, both of Anchorage; and her sister, Patricia Almond of Eagle River.

Evelyn Gonzalez White Crowe, age 58 of Dandridge, Tenn. Passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2008.
            Evelyn was a devoted wife and mother.  She graduated from Fairborn High School in 1968.
            She was preceded in death by her father, Jorge Gonzalez of Puerto Rico and devoted grandmother, Maria Gonzalez of Fairborn, Ohio.
            Survivors include her husband Bobby Crowe of Dandridge, Tenn; mother, Evelyn Gonzalez of Puerto Rico; daughters Robin (Dave) Harrold of Cleveland, Ohio and Raygene (Steve) Lay of Dandridge, Tenn.;  son, Bobby White of Dandridge, Tenn.; grandchildren  Mark and David Harrold;  Isaiah, Maria and Daniel Lay; sisters, Lily Gonzalez of Greenville, Tenn.; Mareene Gonzalez of Miami, FL. and Suezette Gonzalez of Bayamon, Puerto Rico.
