Jerry Smalley 40 years later!   Jerry went to West Point and served 7 years in the US Army Corps of Engineers in Germany and the Pacific.  In an interesting spur of the moment decision he joined a construction company while on leave from an Army posting to Enewetak Atoll (think cleaning up nuclear weapons tests).  Jerry went on to became Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of the The Rouse company a premier real estate development and management company operating more than 175 properties in 22 states.  He retired from Rouse in 2003.  His daughter Kim runs Haven Custom Homes in Linthicum, MD.

  Jerry is the same really nice guy we knew in high school!  The difference is now he has 40 years of experiences and wisdom to share.  He has very fond memories from his school years in Fairborn.  His passion is sailing but he does own golf clubs and is considering playing on Thursday but has promised not to beat anyone.
